What is a Penalty and What is the Policy?
Gigs provides guidelines on the items and criteria for penalties that the company can take in accordance with the terms and conditions to ensure the safety and reliability of transactions.
If there is evidence of activities that disrupt the service usage of other members or hinder the operation of the company's service, penalties will be imposed according to this policy.
It is important to review this policy before using the service, and please note that Gigs is not responsible for any issues arising from failure to understand and comply with it.
Penalty Operation Policy
- Penalty measures can be applied to all members using the Gigs service.
- Penalty measures can be applied not only based on the contents of the terms and conditions but also in cases suspected of violating other provisions of the terms and conditions or relevant laws, or engaging in illegal or unfair activities.
- When the company imposes usage restrictions and other necessary measures due to penalties, it will notify the member in advance through phone calls, emails, or other means of communication. However, if the company deems that prompt action is necessary, it may take action first and then notify the member.
- Members can raise objections to the company's measures, and if the company determines that the objection is valid, it may lift the measures.
Penalty Procedure
- Verification of Reason for Measures
- The member's violation of the regulations is examined, and the post-registration activity history and records of measures are comprehensively considered to determine whether penalty measures should be taken and how.
- Notice of Planned Measures
- The subjects will be notified of the measures and their planned implementation through email, Gigs notifications, SMS, etc.
- Submission of Explanations
- After reviewing the measures and deadlines provided in the notice, the member can submit their explanation in response.
- The explanation will be reviewed by the relevant department, and a response will be sent, indicating the final decision on the measures.
- If there is no response within the given deadline, the final penalty will be applied according to the provided guidance.
