Is Refund Possible After Charging Gigs Cash and Policy After Schedule Confirmation?

Refunds and Policy After Charging Gigs Cash

  • If the lesson has not started yet, 100% of the purchase price will be refunded. However, if the schedule for the lesson has been confirmed, the 'Refund Policy After Schedule Confirmation' listed below will apply.
  • In case of lesson cancellation, Gigs users who purchased the lesson will be refunded with Gigs Cash equivalent to the cancelled purchase amount.
  • Refunds are possible within 30 days after charging Gigs Cash, and the default policy is to refund via the original payment method. If payment cancellation is not possible, the remaining amount after deducting the Gigs service fee and payment method fee (such as credit card fees) related to the lesson service will be refunded as Gigs Cash.
  • No refunds are allowed if any portion of the Gigs Cash has been used or if the lesson has been taken at least once after charging Gigs Cash.
  • If the scheduled lesson service is delayed before or after the agreed-upon schedule due to circumstances on the part of the Gigs expert who sells the lesson service, the remaining portion, excluding the calculated lesson time or number of sessions provided by the Gigs expert, will be refunded as Gigs Cash.

Is There a Separate Policy for Refunds After Schedule Confirmation?

  • Schedule confirmation means that a general user requests a lesson schedule, and the expert accepts it.
  • After schedule confirmation, the expert blocks off the corresponding time and prepares to provide the lesson to the general user. Therefore, the following refund policy applies in case of cancellation after schedule confirmation.

    Refund Policy for Gigs General Users After Schedule Confirmation

    • Non-participation by Gigs general users after schedule confirmation: No refund
    • Cancellation by Gigs general users on the same day as the scheduled start date: No refund
    • Cancellation by Gigs general users one day before the scheduled start date: 50% refund
    • Cancellation by Gigs general users two days before the scheduled start date: 100% refund
  • After schedule confirmation, Gigs general users are also required to allocate their time accordingly. If the Gigs expert fails to fulfill their obligations regarding the confirmed schedule, the following penalties are imposed on the Gigs expert:

    • Failure to initiate the lesson service by the Gigs expert after schedule confirmation: 7-day activity suspension
    • Cancellation by the Gigs expert on the same day as the scheduled start date: 3-day activity suspension
    • Cancellation by the Gigs expert one day before the scheduled start date: 1-day activity suspension
    • Cancellation by the Gigs expert two days before the scheduled start date: No penalty
  • If the purchased lesson service with a confirmed schedule has started and the Gigs general user does not participate, the lesson service will automatically start according to the scheduled time, and the Gigs expert will be paid the earnings.
  • In the case of an expert no-show after the lesson schedule is confirmed, the member should contact Support for resolution. If the expert's absence or non-performance is confirmed, 100% cash will be refunded.
  • If a Gigs general user who purchased a lesson service requests a refund from the Gigs expert who sold the lesson service due to simple change of mind, ID restrictions, or similar reasons after the lesson service has started, an agreement regarding the refund is required between the Gigs general user and the Gigs expert. If an agreement is not reached, a refund is not possible.
  • Any issues between the Gigs expert who sold the lesson service and the Gigs general user who purchased the lesson service that arise after the lesson service has started must be resolved through individual agreement between the parties involved. The company will not intervene or take any responsibility in such matters.
  • In cases where problems arise in relation to the lesson service that is repeatedly registered for sale, the company may take measures such as restrictions on the expert providing the lesson service.
  • If the lesson service provided by the Gigs expert differs from the information announced, the Gigs general user who purchased the lesson service may request a refund from the Gigs expert.
  • For these reasons, Gigs general users are advised to confirm the schedule through sufficient communication with the Gigs expert who sells the lesson service before the lesson service starts. The company will not intervene or take responsibility for issues that arise after the lesson service has started.
