What Should I Do in Case of Dispute During a Lesson?
If a dispute arises during a lesson, please follow the steps below:
When Contact with the Expert is Lost
If you are unable to contact the expert, you can request a 'cancellation' for the transaction through the Support.
If you cannot request cancellation through the Support, please contact Gigs via telephone at 070-8984-3520.
In Case of Dispute During the Transaction
- As a platform for facilitating online transactions, Gigs provides an online marketplace and supplementary information to its members. Regarding transactions between members conducted through the service, the principle is to reach an agreement between the parties involved.
- However, if the parties involved cannot reach a satisfactory agreement, we have a 'dispute resolution' process in place to assist with resolving the issues.
- In case of a dispute, a first-round agreement between the member and the expert is sought regarding 'lesson progress, cancellation, and refund.'
- If the agreement cannot be reached amicably, please prepare the following information and submit it to the Support:
- Member information
- Explanation of the dispute situation and progress of the first-round agreement between the parties
- Supporting evidence such as conversation records, conditions, and final completion related to the lesson
- A Gigs representative will respond within 7 business days, and please cooperate actively with the resolution process as guided.
- If the dispute cannot be resolved through Gigs' mediation, you can proceed with a resolution application to an 'external organization' as instructed.
- Once the resolution process is completed, please fulfill the obligations regarding costs and other matters based on the outcome.
Important Notes
- Cancellation requests and dispute resolution applications are not available for confirmed transactions.
- If contact with Gigs is lost for more than 7 days during the dispute resolution process, the dispute resolution will be canceled.
- If you fail to submit the application for external organization resolution within 7 days of receiving the instructions, the dispute resolution will be canceled.
